Western Work Boats

Jack Sparrow

The “Jack Sparrow” is a gutsy little work boat. It is constructed from high density polyethylene (strong plastic) and is very tough. We commonly rub its bow up and down rocks in swells while transferring equipment and personnel ashore without sustaining any damage. The work boat has a very powerful, quiet engine, carries a load well and gets on the plane with 5 people and 4 sets of dive gear aboard. Divers enjoy using the “Jack Sparrow” because of its incredible stability and ease of getting in and out of the water. The propellor guard ensures the safety of divers whilst operating around them. The “Jack Sparrow has a 3 point lifting arrangement which allows it to be craned easily on and off ships, barges and trucks. The vessel has inshore limits (12 mile) surveys for both passenger and non-passenger purposes. It has a towing post for towing and is very handy for pushing barges in shallow  estuaries where there is not enought draft for a normal tug to proceed.

The vessel is 3.05m  wide and can be trucked on a standard flat deck with no pilot required and no fuss
